Kaifoam PE is a CE-compliant closed-cell insulation material made of quality polyethylene that is used to insulate pipes carrying heat and cold in sanitary and heating technology. The silver-grey pipe insulation reliably minimises energy losses in unheated rooms of commercial and residential buildings such as detached houses and apartment blocks thanks to low thermal conductivity of ≤0.040 W/(m·K) at +40 °C or +10 °C mean temperature. These thermal properties reliably prevent either condensation from forming or pipes freezing over the entire service life of the heating system.

At the same time, Kaifoam PE also acts as sound insulation by muffling liquid flow and ticking noises from adjacent building components. Dust- and fibre-free, it meets increased hygiene requirements while contributing to a positive indoor climate.

Kaifoam PE insulation material is easy to work with, as the semi-flexible tubes are supplied slit so they can be simply pushed onto the pipe. There is a wide range of tape accessories and PE clips for secure attachment. Kaifoam PE tubes are also available in a self-adhesive version. Kaifoam PE generates a positive return on investment in just a short time.

Product Highlights

Excellent thermal values minimise energy losses

Inadequately insulated technical installations generate increased operational costs. Kaiflex has low thermal conductivity, which results in lower energy losses and increases the efficiency of the entire installation.

Anti-microbial finish

Mould growth can affect indoor air quality. Kaiflex provides effective protection against moisture penetration, is naturally anti-microbial and resistant to mould growth, leaving bacteria no chance.

Effective sound insulation performance reduces noise pollution

Acoustic comfort improves the quality of life. Kaimann products have sound-absorbing properties that reduce the noise level of technical equipment and contribute to a quieter environment.
