The Branch Manager will be responsible for the day to day running of the store including providing high standards of customer service and delivering key performance indicators for the business including profitability, sales, margin, stock management, debtors, health & safety and people management.

This is a varied role offering exposure to variety of different roles within the branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for deliveries for the branch, organizing the stores area of the branch and assist on the counter when required.

You will primarily be responsible for looking after the stores of the Branch, unloading deliveries and putting away stock, updating paperwork on the system to accurately record stock, whilst also maintaining a good standard of housekeeping of the stores area. You will also assist with sales enquiries/ transactions and maintaining high standards of customer care within the branch.

The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for sourcing the right product at the right terms (considering cost, rebate, lead times) that will allow Heat Merchants Group to continue to lead the way in the in the heating and renewable market by providing innovative solutions for customers and staff. Key responsibilities will include market research, technical product validation, competitor analysis, costing, pricing, value engineering and range management.

The post holder will be responsible for looking after the stores of the Branch, unloading deliveries and putting into stock, updating paperwork on the system to accurately record stock, whilst also maintaining a good standard of housekeeping of the stores area. You will also act as a back up driver and be willing to help out in neighbouring branches when required.
