Over the past few years, Grant Engineering has won several awards for product, innovation and their commitment to the heating industry including

Grant is aware that although most domestic houses will continue to be heated by gas, oil or electricity well into the future, there is a growing awareness that we all need to do more to reduce our dependency on fossil fuels. Despite the sophisticated technology employed in the development of new products, Grant have kept true to the original concept of simplicity in installation and maintenance, which are essential ingredients of today’s heating systems. Grant products are manufactured from the highest quality materials and designed not just to meet, but to exceed all relevant performance and environmental standards.

What are condensing oil boilers?

Conventional oil boilers and condensing boilers worked by a boiler being wrapped in a container of water, this water was then heated and the resultant steam provided heat. The problem with this type of oil boiler design was the loss of heat via the flue. Unlike traditional oil boilers the Grant Vortex condensing boiler has a built-in stainless steel heat exchanger incorporating Grant’s unique turbulator baffle system, which cools the gases to a point where the latent heat, normally lost to the atmosphere through the flue, can be usefully extracted. This results in the captured energy which would normally be lost reused for a more efficient boiler. This efficiency directly results in lower running costs to the end user.

Grant condensing oil boilers are easy to install and commission

The key to a successful reputation within the heating industry is to provide a first class product. That’s why at the time of installation all Vortex Condensing Oil Boilers are commissioned and ensured that they are working at peak efficiency. The ensures that Grant Oil Boilers (condensing) remain reliable for the long term and will have very low running costs.
